Good morning guys,
Can anyone give me the make, model and year range of vehicle that our
starters come from. Looks like I may need a new one. Thanks.

Hi Andy,
The starter for the Stratus Subaru would be near a 1985 Brat. A word of
warning about starters for Stratus though.
The starters for Stratus are wound or rewired to run backwards because
of the starters reverse-position on the re-drive. This is probably a
common thing
but it=99s a good thing to consider when you need one.

I didn't think they were Subaru starters. I thought they were from

Andy,
I=99ve had three Subaru engines and the starters all looked like
each other, Stratus included, but wiring was changed
on the Stratus to account for the starter body pointing back over the
cylinders. The automotive one has the starter body pointing back along
the drive train .
I could be wrong, but this I believe is right.

Larry,
I talked to Mykal Templeman this afternoon and he said the starter
comes from a mid 80's Toyota Cressida. Thought you might want to know
as well.
