Hi all,

After installing my Ram heads and dual dizzy's, I am only getting 3600 RPM 
@ full throttle.=C2- The engine is running smooth with no hiccups, just o
nly getting 3600 RPM.=C2- The Bing carbs are the original setup with the 
old heads and Subaru ignition.=C2- Any suggestions?=C2-

Hi John,

I=99d look at the butterfly travel and linkage at the carbs.  If 
you=99re running distributors, I=99d look at fly-weights in 
the distributor.  Check your carbs and jets for corruption from the 
tank. I was surprised to have lots of aluminum swarf and grit from 
construction of my tanks with same result.  Smooth could be with 
misadjusted valve gap and or timing.  Get a good filter on your fuel 
line ahead of the carbs. I used a see thru type, no problems.
