My EAA chapter is building a Taylor Bird project. The design uses a
Subaru engine as a pusher but with a redrive designed in the 70's that
required numerous complex unavailable parts. I am looking for anyone
with Stratus redrive parts available, we have two engines. I am also
going to contact Status but first I trying to find parts for the project
on the cheap. I am also looking for the part number of the crankshaft
roller bearing and a source for the thermostat housing. Any help is
appreciated.

Tim,
Here's the link to the thermostat housing I'm using. Excellent workmanship.
www.highwingllc.com/thermostat.html Uses a standard, I believe, Ford style
thermostat available at your local auto parts store..
