What thickness of aluminum do I need to use for the backing plate for the
spinner? Tony says in his books to use .080" , this seems hard to find. Is
.060" thick enough? JohnD

Farmer, Are you going to spin your own? If you do, make at least a 3/8"
radius on the flange. I had some spun and the radius was to tight and they
would crack, some in as little as 10 hours and others 200 hours. I now make
them using carbon fiber and they are bullet proof. .080 might be better
than .060 if aluminum. We used generic 1/2 hard when we made ours. Jim C
