--> Tailwind-List message posted by: "William Bernard" <billbernard@worldnet.att.net> Thanks Jim! What holds the muff in place around the exhaust pipe? The clamp? I'm also intrigued by your comment about the cabin heat box. Can you provide a description of it as well? I'd also like to see some photos if and when they happen. The winters in Illinois are not as severe as Wisconsin, but it still gets a bit on the cool side. Thanks to all for the ideas. The funnel opens up to put over the exhaust pipe and a few screws to close up. Mine takes in two pipes as they both exit the same side and this fastens on as near the firewall as you can. The heat bos is 3" wide, 6" long and 1" deep. and closed at one end. It has a 3/4" flange bent out on each side of the 6" base. 2" inlet on the front and back, straight thru when the slider is pulled open. The slider has the the end bent up to close the box when it is pulled past the 2" inlet. I will have to read the instructions on my camera so I can post pictures, it is hard to describe how this thing works. --> Tailwind-List message posted by: Fred Weaver <mytyweav@earthlink.net> good idea Jim... I just happen to have it on the shelf today and can easily take some pictures. I'll try to have em on the list by tomorrow. The valve itself won't have a picture until I take the cowl off on Sunday.. I will try to locate some other pics in the meantime in my system. Maybe I already have the details...
