Forwarded here is Mr. Jim Irby's e-mail telling me he is going to sell 3RC.
I personally will neither second guess him nor further question his reasons.
As far as I'm concerned, he has earned the right to buy and sell airplanes
as often as he wants.

FWIW, when Jim bought Rick's airplane, he had intended to replace his RV6 with
the Tailwind. The only problem Jim had with Rick's airplane was finding hangar
space for it when he got back to Killeen. Jim still has his RV6 and afterall,
wants to keep it. The Tailwind is a little noisier than the 6 and he didn't want
to load it down with sound dampening materials. Bottom Line? The plane is
fine and is a real nice Tailwind AND it's up for sale. It's currently tied down
outside BUT in a covered space. That space is borrowed and soon the owner will
be putting his airplane back onto that space and the the Tailwind will have
to share space in a huge FBO hangar. Time for someone that would like a nice
Tailwind to "GIT on down to Texas" and buy it. Price appears to be $38K and it's
got a great GPS/COM along with the other nice things Rick built into it.

Well, its November 30th and that means three things...
1) Today I am officially 40 years old (sympathy is appreciated)!
2) It marks that last "official" day of the List Fund Raiser!
3) Its the last day I will be bugging everyone for a whole year! :-)
If you use the Lists and enjoy the content and the no-advertising, no-spam,
and no-censorship way in which they're run, please make a Contribution
