Well guys.... Looks like some nice weather out here for the weekend.
It's not even cold tonight.... Will get the Tailwind out and start
Zipping around San Francisco by 11 am.. Will take pictures and post em
for you.

Fred looks like we got the same weather here this weekend. We're going to San Marcos
this morning to see the new Grandbaby. I won't get to fly over SF bay but
I do get to fly over Horseshoe bay and Lake Travis. Huh just don't sound the

Hey, you will also be flying over Geronimo. I have a friend that lives there with
a grass strip just about 1 mile or less, East from the little "burg" itself.
The strip runs diagonally across his property.. Let me know if you see it. You
will also be flying past Seguin? That is where Billy Dawson lives. He's the
guy that makes those award winning Hatz Biplanes. Nice guy... and he respects
Tailwinds... :)

Seems like a lot of people are looking for Tailwinds . I'm getting calls all the
time if I know of any . It wouldn't be a bad idea if some how we could keep
each other informed . Or maybe have a list of our members addresses so we can
call upon ourselfs to check out the planes in our area ?

We stopped at Shellville several years ago with Skip and Jerry Lovell. They were
setting up for the EAA meeting that night. It appeared the main course was a
half barrel of beer as they were unloading it for the ice filled stock tank nearby.
