Sorry, sent the same window pic twice. Strobe pic is the top, another just
like it is on the bottom. Pics seem blurry, I'll have to read the camera
book to see what the problem is.

How is the rear window frames attached to the fuselage? And do you have any
pics of the front door post between the door and side window?
Thanks,

Small tabs welded to the fuselage and countersunk pop rivets. I'll give the
front post a try this afternoon. Jim

Subject: | Tailwind Rotary Engine Mount |
A big problem when installing the rotary engine in any airplane
including the Tailwind is interference between the motor mount tubes
and the exhaust pipes. Paul Lamar has come up with a new engine mount
design that finally promises to end this conflict. Here are a couple
of Rhino drawings that Paul produced in just a few minutes to clarify
the design to me.

Here are three views of same subject. I have built several variations
of the Rotary engine mount-- this one will be number four. It looks
like it will work. It is different from yours in that the front engine
mounts are attached to a motor mount plate that sits between the drive
and the bell housing. There is no pan plate. The rear engine support
is a completely separate structure.
Where do you live, John. Once the weather clears and warms up, I'd
like to visit. Jerry

you are having the same problem Rick had. Your previous picture with the

When my finger is off the button it is a solid green, when I push part way down
it blinks green. If I hold it there it keeps blinking green for a long time,
is it ok to push all the way down while it is still blinking? Seems I get a lot
of green blinking.

Usually prime the whole fuel tank. The glue works better over primer than
bare aluminum. Usually, If I don't plan on painting or gluing to, I don't
prime. Jim

Tailwinders,
I think I know what's causing this, but I haven't figured out exactly
why yet. It has to do with something in the Spam blocking code. Its
triggering on some of the data in the enclosures. I'll post something
as soon as I get it resolved... Sorry for the hassle...

This is a test of photos,
Taken from the Tailwind on the way to a party for the NASCAR race drivers in Joliet,
IL
The mostly white planes parked in rows outside were over 100 jets, made quite a
stir as they left for the Carolinas.
The Flying Tailwind is 4JB with race #'s from Sun and Fun 2000 and is now 564DF.
