The first pic is about 10:30 a.m. the second is about 3:30 p.m. Needless to say
things change around here pretty quickly. I got my aux tank installed this weekend.
Now I can carry an extra 6 gals. in the back, so I can fly down to see
that grandson without a fuel stop. I made it where I can pull it out real easily
so when my wife goes with me she carry lots of stufffff. I used a 6 gal boat
tank, now when I go to Bboo this summer I'll put a tank in the passenger seat
I can go a really long way before I have to stop. Now I'll have to stop and
pee before I have to get fuel................Bob 149

Jim; Went up to the boat supply place today to order the carpet and they
don't have a medium blue anymore, only dark blues. I can't find the e-mail
address that you posted awhile back for a supplier, do you have that any
place. Thanks JohnD

Alex: The original O-O had a 225 hp Continental O470J off of a Cessna 180, late
'50s model, I think. I have the log book for that engine around here somewhere.
for the O-O II, I've chosen a 210 hp Continental IO360D, I think it's a mid
'60s model, don't know what it came off of. The engine I've chosen is EIGHTY
pounds lighter and has a CG advantage of nearly 6". We are completely rebuilding
the engine, just about have it back together.

Rick, sounds great ! seems the 80 lbs lighter may compensate for the 15 hp
difference. Keep it going, we all are anxious to see her fly.
