Rio Vista is about 40 miles south of my home airport, Yolo Co. Had a modest turnout with a chilly wind blowing, but a number of interesting aircraft flew in. A few of the nicest are in the photo. The first I assume you all can recognize. The second has been called a biplane tailwind, since the upper wing and fuselage remind one of a tailwind. However it is a unique design, and this one is the second and only other one built. This one was built by Brad Poling of Sacramento. I wish I could remember the name of the plane, but it excapes me. The third is a 1929 Great Lakes, but modified a few years ago to put an O-360 lycoming and constant speed prop on it for more performance over the original 90 HP engine. Was a very nice plane and I bet a ball to fly. Red and Marilyn were there with their very nice C-180. Also saw Wilson Werhan (sp) with his exceptional 21 year old Tailwind. Met a lot of other friends too. Dave N168A
