Subject: Tailwind-List: sanding & painting
Well I got the yellow shot this weekend. Now I have to paint the doors and boot
cowl and then stripe it. I was told I could wet sand the paint with some 2000
grit and dull the finnish. I thought I would buff the fabric out then dull
the paint and try to buff it back to where the gloss is about the same. Anybody
ever done anything like that before. After the shiny paint I found out how wavy
the cowl is. I'm about to get the extra plane out of my hangar, so I'll have
room to start building me a W-10 this winter. I'll use all the prefab cowling,
pants, etc. that I can get...............Bob 149
