Hope to see some Tailwinds. This construction process leaves me with many questions. Hope to be there in the Comanche if the shop gets the cylinder head back on in time. First there was a little exhaust leak. Then the helcoil was discovered to be non-repairable. Off to Harrisons to weld it up and tap for a new stud. I'm told it was a good time. I will be there. Unfortunately I will be driving since I have to be in Kentucky the day before on business. I am looking forward to seeing the Tailwinds and and saying hi. Anyone know who is in town? It sounded like you were talking to another plane but maybe it was just your intercom transmitting. How did you fix the nose heaviness? Here is a link for others to see. http://www.geocities.com/airknocker46/davestailwind.jpg See you at SAA Urbana. You had flown to Neumans field in Kalamazoo about three years ago, gave me ride, and stopped in at my house to look at my project. My brother and I flew to LL51 to look at one of two original Falco's in the US. My brother has the other one and after restoring it, is in the process of getting it certified. Does anyone out there have an 0320 A1A they can lone us until the inspector approves (or even just a placard) The airport was a nice little air park with a 2000 ft grass runway with a slight slope. We also discovered a nice gentleman who had a beautiful WACO he built, and three others in the process of being built. I love little grass strips.
