Bud also had a 90A converted to a lycoming. Bud had a lot of experience in Monocoupes. All but one of the Clipwings were crashed, most destroyed. They were "rebuilt" from the paperwork. The one that was never damaged belongs to a gentleman in Florida, a retired airline pilot. Buds was built from a 90A fuselage and the rest was mostly homebuilt. The clipwing built in Washington By Fred Ludke is completely homebuilt. This airplane is now based in PA. I saw it takeoff from Blakesburg last Sep. Looked really scary. Several of the crashes involved aerobatics at low altitude, not the airplanes fault. The Tailwind Forum group site is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TailwindForum ADVERTISEMENT a.. TailwindForum Just a quick note to let everyone know, I'm planning to ship a new cowling, spinner and back plate, instrument panel and wheel pants to Baraboo. They will be available for purchase without having to pay freight. I would prefer to sell them as a complete set to someone building a W-10 right now. I've been working on the new airscoop and have begun fabricating the mold today. The attached photo is of the plug after the tooling gel coat is sprayed. The mold should be complete this week and those waiting on airscoops can expect them to be shipped in 2 weeks. ===== BRIAN ALLEY (N320WT) CARBON FIBER COMPOSITES 304-872-7938 shop 304-562-6800 home How are you going to win by a nose if you don't stick out your neck?
