I also have spam guard and get virtually NO spam on either site. the rest of these guys must be doing something wrong. However, I do get a post from both sites so when they are "double posts" I just delete the matronics list if I want to post a "thank you" or some non tailwind message. Otherwise I get some great information from both sites and enjoy both. Hope You guys continue to use both sites until I get my tailwind built at least. The windows 98 machines were cantankerous like that. (Windows 95 should not have even been released) No matter how careful you are, about 2 years is all you are going to get before major overhaul. Better yet buy a new hard drive (larger) and put windows xp on it. Just put everything you want to keep from the old one (Tailwind pictures) where you can find it first. -Danny Do not Archive -----Original Message----- From: owner-tailwind-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-tailwind-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of john Subject: Tailwind-List: e-mail --> Tailwind-List message posted by: "john" George; I have this antique computer and when I try to upgrade the programs to block spam and the other options, the computer locks up and says I don't have enough memory. For example, click on the Tailwind list and one of the options is clicking on the Tailwind list photos which are just Tailwind photos, or just RVs on the RV list and so on. If you could arrange that I believe it might be better for each list. I personally don't like scrolling through all the photos looking for the ones I am interested in. That may not bother most people but it is an aggrevation to me and I am usually easy to get along with. If I were interested in RVs I wouldn't want to scroll through all the photos looking for RVs either. I am not trying to be a trouble maker, just a suggestion if you can do it. I was on this list a couple of years ago and I didn't like the photo feature then either. Maybe Fred has the best idea, of rinsing it out. My daughter had a boyfriend who thought he understood computers, and that is where the real trouble started. Thank God he isn't around here any more. I looked at a new computer today, $400.00 for 2.7 Ghz and all that other stuff. Came home, called Wag-Areo and ordered seat belts and master cylinders, still have my priorties straight. JohnD.
