I made arrangements with EAA for us to park in our original parking row by the Classic Cafe Monday morning about 8:30 Weather forecast for Baraboo is 75 degrees for a high on Saturday. Roger's question was about fuel pumps on O300s, not C145s. The cam on all according to my source is the same and has the pump eccentric. How ever there are two crankcases. One with the pump pad and hole. One without. Next time someone looks at an C-145-O-300, it might be worth looking to see if the pad is cast and just needs machining, or they used a different pattern all together. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sanders, Andrew P" Subject: Tailwind-List: RE: Crash landing on Canadian Tailwind's maiden flight > --> Tailwind-List message posted by: "Sanders, Andrew P" > > I didn't know that and I'm glad to be enlightened. That way you should be able to pass underneath any traffic that might be on final even though you'll be going over the runway. This technique also will allow good visibility from the lawn chairs inside Jim's hangar.
