Well.... Thought I would get a head start yesterday but got hung up with
all the thunderstorms in Wyoming. Spent the night in Driggs, Idaho just a
few miles from the Tetons. Wow....very pretty. Am leaving now for
Cooperstown, N. Dakota to hook up with Lee Cardoza, the owner/pilot of the
Fourunner. We will be in Baraboo this afternoon with any weather luck at
all.
Yahoooooo,
Weav

I'm really jealous Weav. I was going to leave in the morning, but found two low
cylinders on 149. I guess I'll work this weekend and try to figure out whats
wrong. Maybe next year............Bob 149

This cold front that came thru this morning had lots
of nasty stuff in trail. Ceilings was 600' until 2PM
with light showers and mist. It cleared around 3:30
for about 30 minutes then came another cell. I have
the airplane packed, fueled and preflighted. The
forcast for tommorrow morning is excellent. I plann to
leave as soon as the fog burns off. Can't wait to join
in on the fun!!!!!!!

I made arrangements with EAA for us to park in our original parking row by the
Classic Cafe Monday morning about 8:30
Weather forecast for Baraboo is 75 degrees for a high on Saturday.

Subject: Tailwind-List: Baraboo Fly-by Pilots
The local Tailwind pilots at Baraboo would like to encourage all visiting pilots
to maintain a safe distance from people if they desire to do a fly-by.
Thanks. George, Jim, and the others.
(This will promote safety, and prevent outsiders from creating problems with our
flyin.)
