Fred,
I saw your GPS at Oshkosh sitting next to the 295 and 296. The screen on
yours is the biggest by far. Going to put the cowl on the old 8 today I
hope. Crosslin says he will take it around the patch to see what she's got
before I hand it over to the Jump pilot down here to fly it to the airport
where I am taking my transition training. The guy at that airport says
we'll start out in his Citabria and switch to mine later, can't beat a deal
like that. Better check you manual, I'm sure that red button does
something!

To all who may be interested....I'm beginning construction of a metal wing, C-85
powered, TW that will weigh around 650 empty and will meet the LSA specs.
It will probably be about a year from now to first flight. I will be offering
plans. Callbie Wood,

Earl have you determined if Buttercup will qualify?
To all of you, will a light weight ,low HP Tailwind perhaps with Vortex generators
meet the Sport Pilot rules?
I'm getting tired of spending $1700 for test, submitting them to wait 9 months
for an approval that expires in 3 months.
Just got my special medical 8/18 and it expires 11/30.
