That would be the Wicks part number FC100-002 fuel cap.$40.
Bill , what modifications are needed? Eric

I used a flush type of filler neck the Jim Clement told me about. I got it
from Wicks. It's not expensive, but it needs to be modified to allow for the
attachment to the tank.

Thanks Bill,
Do you rememeber which thickness of the connecting plate you used for the
oil 90 filter adapter you used, I think it comes in 3 different sizes.

Malcolm; A little off subject, but you being a machinist I just had to tell you.
A friend of mine went belly-up on his huge machine shop and auctioned everything
off. I got a 1998 Clausing vertical mill w/powerfeed 4' table for $400,
an old monarch lathe 14" swing/gapbed for $200, also a kabal 12"x5' lathe for
$50, great tight lathe just bad motor, a 4' radial arm drill press, old but excellent
shape for $200, a miller 251 mig welder for $400, a 3x6' steel table
with 3 large drill presses w/#3 taper mounted to it for $50 and a ton of misc
steel and tooling including a 14" rotary table for $50. missed out on a lot of
other Items because I had no place to put them. pretty much completed my shop.

Fast Fred,
Yep, Photoshop. While we were playing I though I'd do one. Tailwinds
don't need any help to look good though, especially yours. That classic
look is the hook that kept me coming back. I picked up a tidbit of
information here and there, and now I live, eat and breathe Tailwinds.
Maybe when I get to flying mine this utter obsession will let up some. I
will be getting around to painting mine one of these days; right now I am
working on tail wheel proficiency. I got 3.5 hours in this week in a Cub
and a Champ, hope to get that much more this week. There is no substitute
for good dual instruction, so I am staying after it until I go broke,
which will be soon. I may have to hitch-hike to Malcolms... :-)
