Malcolm,
Looks like the weather will hold.  So I will be up there in my truck some
time Friday evening with my tent, and hamburger eatin hiney. One more set of
road wheels should come in handy.  Going to charge my camera batteries, so I
can send 1 meg pictures to both lists when I get back. :)

Subject: Tailwind-List: Copperstate flyin report

The EAA Copperstate Flyin started today.  I flew down and checked it out.  This
is a newer airport 40 miles south of the Phoenix airport.  700 showplanes are
expected and over 100 commercial display tents.  Planes come from all over the
Western USA.

The airport expects to be the permanant home of the spring and fall EAA flyins
in AZ.

Over the years several Tailwinds have shown up at these flyins.

Only a hundred or so planes had arrived by this morning and I have these pictures
to give you an idea of what the place looks like.     George .....Phoenix
