Wally was going to try to come through last week but there was all that gulf moisture around the east and north of the whole state. I'm going to try to make it to Ohio or Fresno next year. Just all depends on the price of gas and the weather. It went to 2.95 a gal for 100LL here. Thanks for all the replies from everyone. And that is the entire reason we weigh the airplanes in the first place. We missed Pampa again on the return flight home. The engine really runs good. I cant put my spinner backplate on cause the engine is about 5/8 to short. I guess I'll shim the motor forward a little. I have some 5/8 aluminum and thought I would cut out some spacers with a hole saw and put them between the engine and mount. Anybody see any problem with that? With the wood prop I have on it it will turn 2400 rpm's static, maybe this prop will about right for this engine. I'm going to do a weight and balance next weekend. Do I weigh it sitting or do I raisethe tail tostraight and level??????????????????????? This new panel is an exact replica of Jim Clements aluminum panel. I took his panel out of his new W-10 at Baraboo this summer and traced the shape. Jim told me and others that this shape makes it easier to fit the glareshield. Thanks Jim for all your help. The first new parts will go to Kevin Benzinger, Jey Hey, CJ Kirby and Ralph Williams. Of course I'll need one for my new project. Final polish should occur by early next week and hopefully parts by the weekend. ===== BRIAN ALLEY (N320WT) CARBON FIBER COMPOSITES 304-872-7938 shop 304-562-6800 home How are you going to win by a nose if you don't stick out your neck? ________________________________ Message 6 _____________________________________ Time: 01:05:19 PM PST US Subject: Re: Tailwind-List: New From CFC From: Jerry Hey --> Tailwind-List message posted by: Jerry Hey Beautiful Brian!!
