Bob.... Sure hope the engine runs nice and smooth for your trip. I'm betting that
you like your machine a whole lot better than you did when you first flew
up to Baraboo a couple of years ago.. New Cowl, New Engine, New Prop, fixed
fuselage..... It's just got to be a better ride...

Well the weathers really looking good this weekend, so I guess me and the wife
will take a trip this weekend. We're going down to the Austin area to visit
the kids and grandbaby. It's a tough job but someones got to do it. It's about
377 nm trip so I'll get a chance to get some really good numbers on speed and
fuel burn. I'll try to keep really good records and give a report of the trip
when I get back. Hope everyone has a great weekend and safe flying......................Bob

See attached. We had a great time and lunch. Pictures don't do justice to the
smoke in the air that day. I should have taken a shot or two when we were flying
in nearly MVFR conditions.
