Front ended up a little short but will change it later. Gets hot air from
exhaust directly above.

Figure this one out? The upper is a reflection off the SS bellypan insert.
The bottom of the carb is forward of the outlets.

Fred, it was tough being stuck on the ground today. It was clear blue and
warm enough to have the hanger door open.
Bob said I can use his TW anytime and I might do that, I need a biannual.
One more week and things should be pretty much put together.

The alternator is a Suzuki Samurai, same as Spruce sells for $400+.
I bought two of them for less than $50 each on eBay, core charge alone is
$80 at the parts store. Have used them before and are trouble free, much
better than the Honda like I used on your TW. Jim

Jim;
Can you explain how your air intake box works?
Your ideas always seem so elegant, in that they cut thru the certified crap
and address the problem directly.
Thanks,

Bill, There is a flap under the screen that shuts off the outside air and
opens up the screened area. the hot exhaust is above the screened area. The
lever on the side moves the flapper. This has worked in temperatures
from -25 F to +95 F. Jim
