Paul...Are you the "Paul" Jim Lindner talks about ?? Jim asked me for
pictures of my panel and my GPS co-ordinates...I sent them to him on what I think
he
gave me as his email address ( tcflyboy@core.com) but never heard back from
him. Do I have his address right ?

It was $600 bucks.. It would have been much less if I would have removed
the carbon myself but I had other stuff to do. Now... What did he do for
the money? He indicated the prop first... Found some stuff to tweek..
Then he stripped the prop of all carbon fiber and epoxy. Machined the back
face of the prop to perpindicular with the hole thru the center where the
spinner shaft resides. Once that was done, he could inspect the pitch in
both blades with respect to the hole in the center and got both of them just
right. Once the prop was squared away, he completely reglassed several
layers of Glass onto the wood core. Finally, he sanded, primed and painted
the prop to a gorgeous glossy white finish with red tips. My only complaint
and it really isn't a complaint.....is when he glassed it, he made it
robust. The glass thickened up the airfoil and slowed me down a couple
mph... Still plenty fast the way it is. And of course, I've done my best
to screw up the finish by spitting the screw off the end of the spinner and
into the prop blades. Makes big gouges and dings in the leading edges. The
guys at Baraboo helped cure this ill and I've yet to toss another screw
since.. Jim loves that big tube of BLACK GOO for windshields. It does the
trick.
