I'm 41 years old today - your sympathy is appreciated; and its the last official day of this year's List Fund Raiser!!! There is still plenty of time to make your Contribution to assure your place on the List of Contributors. Eric, I haven't installed electric trim, but it seems to me that Brian's set-up could be modified by removing the handle and installing a small MAC servo. The servo could be mounted hanging from the tube that supports the flap handle and attached to the slider. The only question is whether the servo is strong enough to handle the loads. Of course, the amount of travel would have to be such that the stick could still be moved from stop to stop regardless of the position of the servo arm. (Allows the aircraft to be controlled in the event of servo failure.) This is just a thought and there may be practical reasons why it won't work. I would like to get rid of my plans version W-10 elevator trim in favor of something less obtrusive. I have been studying Brian Alley's trim handle and the original W-8 trim handle. They are better but still both are in between the seats attached to the flap handle in an area of valuable real estate in the cabin. Has anyone else installed an electric or manual elevator trim setup on a W-10 Tailwind with the plans control stick that eliminates the plans setup in favor of something less obtrusive?
