Looks good Dennis. When I get my prop back from Catto, we will have to go up and
compare performance.

MessageMike: Thanks for the information. I for one am very interested in a trip
to GB, Switzerland, and Italy to see you all. Going to the PFA fly in would
be icing on the cake. We are going to have to figure a rough schedule and see
who all wants to go.
Dave

Thanks, look forwards to seeing you. We've got a couple of spare bedrooms, more
than that, people could kip down on airbeds etc. or there's decent hotels
nearby. Some of the other club members may have spare rooms. If you came at the
end of June, beginning of July, you could go the Popular Flying Association
Fly-in at Kemble Airfield, near Gloucester on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd of July. roughly
1,500 - 2,500 planes turn up making it one of the biggest such events in Europe.
Also on the 25th of June, at our local airfield, Hucknal, there is a fly-in to
commemorate 70 years of the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine. They're trying to get
as many Merlin-engine aircraft there as possible. The Rolls-Royce company Spitfire
should be there, and there are bids in for the Battle of Britain comemorative
flight (Spitfire,Hurricane and Lancaster,) to turn up. There should also
be a Merlin-engined car and even a tank!
Other aviation venues worth visiting are Duxford, where there are loads of historic
aircraft, mostly military, with a large war-time Amreican Display,
Hendon, one of the RAF's museum's and Cosford, the other. Loads of stuff, right
through the years,
The Shuttleworth Colection, mostly pre-second world war, some pre- first world
war, nearly all flying (when the weather is right, of course)
and Yeovilton, the Naval aviation Museum.
Hope this whets your appetite.....
