Jim, Now that your camera is working can you show how this clever heat box works? Especially the slider. Does it have springs on it to return it to the closed position? Can it be adapted for windshield defrost? Thanks, Eric Jim and Donna Clement <168x@merr.com> wrote: --> Tailwind-List message posted by: "Jim and Donna Clement" <168x@merr.com> The hose clamp that is riveted to the small end. The funnel opens up to put over the exhaust pipe and a few screws to close up. Mine takes in two pipes as they both exit the same side and this fastens on as near the firewall as you can. The heat bos is 3" wide, 6" long and 1" deep. and closed at one end. It has a 3/4" flange bent out on each side of the 6" base. 2" inlet on the front and back, straight thru when the slider is pulled open. The slider has the the end bent up to close the box when it is pulled past the 2" inlet. I will have to read the instructions on my camera so I can post pictures, it is hard to describe how this thing works. Jim C ---------------------------------

Eric, It is riveted together and mounted on the firewall. Way to much work to take it off and then take it apart for a picture. I will make a drawing of it and send it to you when you are ready for it.
