Aircraft Spruce screwed up my rudder cable order... anyone know of a quicker
option? I have a nicopress tool, but like the swaged MS ends much better.
Thanks,

Order was lost.. I gave it over the phone to a woman who was unsure what I
was talking about. I gave her the page number in the catalog, the lenghts,
ends, etc.. everything needed. She said she may have someone call me back for
clarification. No call.. Waited two weeks and started to feel uneasy about
it..so I called to check....never heard of it! Said another three to four weeks.
Problem solved...Kimball Enterprises (makers of the Model 12) are sending
them up today...

Subject: | Cracked dope and urethane repair |
Greetings from Kissimmee, Florida,
It sure is nice to work on the Tailwind in the sunshine state.
Dave and i put in 2 days hard work while the wives shopped and played.
After Sat. nite's e-mail, Paul Barron stopped by from West Palm Beach and we had
a mini Tailwind
get-together. PS, to Paul, post some photos of the "Deere" for us.
Dave and Paul talked nonstop about mods while i tried to actually do some.
While i was sanding Forest Lovely called and joined in on the fun. i asked
Forrest if his 35 year old recover job was still under warranty?
That is Dave, sitting and Paul with the bare (no race # or RV-10 sign) Tailwind.
The 3 photos of the fin are an illustration of the "Berelsman cracked urethane
and dope fix"
He worked 3M flexible bumper epoxy under the crack, then taped over the repair
and flattened the
patch until the epoxy hardened, pulled the tape off and you could almost just paint
over it!!
Dennis, no plane but still working on it and having a blast.
and back in Chicago
