Aileron torque tubes

      Jim Clement, On the aluminum flaps/ailerons, do you
      prime/paint the steel 3/4" aileron torque tubes? I
      have flaps/ailerons completed with a good working
      clearance between the tubes and the aluminum flap
      bushings; everything works well but I'm concerned
      priming them (in between bushing areas) will cause
      them to bind upon trying to reassembe. RJ

      RJ, You might get by with a real light coat of thinned zinc chromate but it
      will have to be light. I use white lithium grease and coat the entire tube
      before assembly.  Jim
