Dave, Cable Fairleads are available from ACS and I think Wicks. They are mounted in a short length of tubing (3/4 x 0.058 If I rememver correctly). They are leald in place by a snap ring. Jim Clement has also used short pieces of steel tubing as cable guides. They get located wherever the cable must change direction and to hold the cables off the structure. Hope this helps a bit. I'm at a point where I'd like to get the rudder cable fairleads attached to the frame. What is used for the fairleads, and where are they installed?? If I don't ask, and go ahead on my own, I am convinced I'll do it the hardest and most costly way... :-) Thanks, Dave No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. I'm getting to connecting things in the enigne compartment. One of those things are aluminum hoses. I see these need to be flared 37 degrees. I also see that a good quality tool to do the job is expensive. I only need a few hoses done. What to do? Mike NW Illinois
