Subject: | Oil Filter Question |
I have an 0 320 E3D Lyc. with a cartridge oil filter. I want to know what is involved
in using a spin-on oil filter instead of the cartridge? George......Phoenix

Using the oil filter adapter you got from me, the spin on filter should spin on
without doing anything else.
I will check on the instructor in the morning, don't know where Eldon is now.

Jim: I went over to the airparts store after you left and was told that you can't
put a spin on filter on the adapter that fits a cartrige filter. They sell
the parts. That is why I am putting this out on the LIst to see if someone has
experience with this problem. You may be right but this way we can find out
from maybe someone who has done it.

Frenchie sent this picture of a W-8 with the thin skins on wings, looks like
a good reason to use the thicker plywood. JohnD
