I want to change to Clevelands. Has anyone got a pair for sale? What is involved in changing to Clevelands from Rosenhans? Thanks. ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 10:26:25 AM PST US From: dralle@matronics.com (Matt Dralle) Subject: Tailwind-List: [Please Read!] Matronics List Server Back Online... --> Tailwind-List message posted by: dralle@matronics.com (Matt Dralle) System problems continue to plague the Matronics Email server. Incoming List mail was being rejected from about 12am Monday morning until about 10am PDT Monday 4/11. It is unclear at this time what is causing the system problem, but I am feverishly working on the issue. I had to restore a list subscriptions database from an April 6th backup because all of the list files had been truncated. I then reran all of the subscribe/unsubscribe requests since the 6th. You may have just received a subscribe/unsubscribe request and the FAQ if you've subscribed/unsubscribed since the 6th. At this time new posts are being processed and operation should be considered normal. More as information developes... Matt Dralle Matronics Email List Admin DO NOT ARCHIVE -- Matt G. I removed the Continental bed mount and was wondering the best way to change the .375 mount bolts. Are they welded on to the back of the .875 washer? The bolts are pitted and the threads have seen better days. The seller said he would try to get me the plans, he loaned them out several years ago. I'll probably just purchase new ones, but do the new plans from Aircraft Spruce contain the original W-8 drawings also? I had the internet site a couple of weeks ago and forgot to save it, so I still looking. My recollection is that it was a Jeppenson dealer in Italy. Cost for the updates was about the same as it used to be $75/per update. Garmin and the newer lowrance use the same base data now, and it can be downloaded from on-line at much cheaper rates--$35/per update. I always liked the Lowrance, and have two 300s and one 100 (one for each plane), but when comparing the new Garmin 296 and the Lowrance 2000c, I liked the physical size and terrain features of the Garmin, even though it is higher priced. The obstacle data is now the same and I think the screen size is same also. Still, the units are very comparable in features. Garmin does have a better reputation for customer service and support, but they have discontinued supporting older units as has Lowrance. My opinions FWIW.
