It does seem like your prop should turn up some more. I can get almost 2900 RPM @WOT at 2500' in cooler temps with the Aymar Demuth prop on N168A, and will be doing around 205-207+/- MPH (true). The prop is a Felix 68 X 76 pitch. The performance of the prop did not match the numbers as it would only static 2000 rpm at best and required a lot of changes to get satisfactory results. Still not real happy with it. The numbers below might be about 3 mph fast but close, more testing seems to come closer to 187-188 mph @ 2500' 23" mp. 2500. rpm. Top speed seems to vary between 204 - 207 mph. I didn't fly with it before changing. It now turns 2750 - 2800. Removed about three pounds of wood.
