Has any one used the polycarbonate that Shields makes? I think they are in Indiana and make boat and race car windshields out of this stuff. Their site is www.racingshields.com<http://www.racingshields.com/>, Says its super hard coated-anti fog -chemical resistant. I am considering changing out mine and going to 3/16 something. Any suggestions- Gordon 9168Q

--> Tailwind-List message posted by: Eric Schlanser <eschlanser@yahoo.com> Seems a bit much for a taillight. I think Jim C's suggestion of a light bulb is enough. You might think of using it for a windshield. That would be good. But at $265 for a 48"x64"x3/16" piece I think they are rather pricey. I got my coated polycarbonate sheet for about half that at a local plastics dealer. Where are you? I ran into that web site and thought it sounded pretty good except for the price. I liked the part of being chemical (gas) resistant and also fog proof. Gordon 9168Q
