Ok....Several guys have sent email over the weekend requesting info for the W10
that's for sale. I haven't responded immediately because I've been gone for a
few days. I flew up to Idaho Falls with Ted Rosario in my Tailwind Saturday morning
and we ended up flying all weekend. I gotta say, the Grand Tetons are just
gorgeous this time of the year. BTW, It's not my plane that's for sale. N168X
just averaged over 200 mph both ways from Idaho Falls. We were able to enjoy
ground speeds of 220-225 all the way home. Been awhile since I really got to
run some 100LL through it for 1200 miles.
The plane that is for sale is good ole N3749T. It has a new engine and a LOT of
other upgrades including new upholstry too. I will be glad to send pictures to
anyone that is interested in buying the airplane and will also provide details
about the plane. What I was trying to say when I first mentioned it was.......
I have been sending tons of pictures to individuals out there for the Fourunner.
Some of that has just been wasted time. I am trying to avoid spending
a lot of time sending pictures to everyone in the world, one email at a time.
I also got a lot of people calling me for hours trying to trade airplanes for
the Fourunner.
This week, I will get a decent ad put together for the Tailwind that I can send
out easily. Last week when I mentioned the sale, I was maybe too brief. All the
details will be ready this week. I'd prefer not to advertise on Barnstormers...
I think we have plenty of Tailwind guys on this list/forum. The issue with
Barnstormers is that people from all over the world respond. I'd like to keep
the airplane here in the states...
Thanks,
Weav
