Chuck, you are wasting your time. It will not work and you will have to
paint regardless. Apparently, You are reading too much into the hype of
marketing and sales from AS&S. Do yourself a favor and forget the idea and
just use good epoxy and glass to finish the surface of your wing. Then,
apply a good primer for the paint you intend to use. Over the years, you
will be glad you took the time to do it right.

Here's something I've been wanting to try for a long time:
I just ordered some Epoxy Premium Pigment from AS&S.
Prep the plywood on the wing, use 1080 deck cloth with straight resin,
while still tacky - squeegee resin with micro-balloons and Epoxy Pigment,
then I'm going to use this stuff in the last two layers of West System 105
Resin / 206 Hardener, and if I can get to flow & look flat and glossy, I'm
NOT going to paint the wing.

        So...waddya think ???

Also remember that the epoxy needs to be protected from the UV and I don't

      Paul,
I found my copy of the West System User Manual, and it says the same thing
you did...the pigment will NOT be enough to protect the epoxy from UV rays.
So much for the No Paint idea...
Thank you all for your responses.
