Not wishing to point a finger or blast any specific person, I'm starting a new
Thread on the epoxy filler subject. I've worked with epoxy, polyester and vynlester
resins with wood, fiberglass and carbon fiber everyday for the last five
years. I have some very interesting insight as to what is proper technique.
Anyone who recommends poor technique as acceptable just because you got away
with it so far, is totally irresponsible.
There are several new builders on this list looking for answeres, correct answeres!!!
Please consider that others may take your advice, right or wrong.
I stand buy my statement concerning the use of micro, silica or any other light
weight filler used to thicken epoxy as poor technique in structural bonds.
Anyone with questions or comments is welcome to contact me on or off list or
by phone.
