The plans, and Jim C, both call out for 1/2 X .035 aluminum stringers.
I picked up some smaller dia tube - 6 pieces 10' long, at the Yard Store here
in Wichita for about $10. It measures between 5/16 and 3/8 X .035 (might be
metric). Would this be all right for the stringers ?

Should work, I used 3/8" X .028 and it worked ok. Anchor it down a little
more than using 1/2". Jim C
