That is why I recomended Glass Bead. Glass Beads are very hard and brittle, they break which helps in preventing peening. Also the use of 80 to 100 PSI and a standard ceramic nozzle will lessen if not totally reduce the chance of warpage. Distance of the nozzle from the wok as well as angle are factors. BUT! The biggest factor is NOT to be in a rush. On very thin materials .020" and smaller reduce the PSI to about 15 to 20 PSI. On aluminum's be VERY careful, different aluminum's have different harnesses and once blasted are very prone to corrosion, because you just broke the Skin. You can get it at Walmart, Kmart, some Albertsons.... It cleans grease very well and will not attack aluminum Gary www.AuCountry.com Home of "Team Grumman" TeamGrumman-List@matronics.com http://www.matronics.com/subscribe ________________________________ Message 5 _____________________________________ Time: 11:58:58 AM PST US From: Aucountry@aol.com Subject: Re: TeamGrumman-List: Re: : DX330 --> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: Aucountry@aol.com In a message dated 09/25/03 10:40:40 AM, jamey@jamescourtney.net writes: > --> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: "James Courtney" < > jamey@jamescourtney.net> > > But you're the one who told me to use DX330 to clean under my pedals > originally;) > > Okay, De-Solv-it it is. > > Jamey > yes, I guess I did. Gary, thanks for the throttle tip on shut down, that seems to result in a smooth engine off procedure. Hopefully I can investigate the possibility of a leak in the primer this weekend. When the SUBJECT changes please change the SUBJECT TITLE so as to conform with the NEW SUBJECT. I deleted the unwanted email by subject, such as the Mr. COTTER PIN ramblings. I do not wish to miss the really good stuff. Lucky I read Linn's last posting on Mr. Cotter Pin, while he was on Rum & Coke. Very good Linn, keep the elbow bent and the postings coming.
