It just sold too. Couple of comments. First, the wing bolt AD was only partially complied with. The rear bolts had been changed, the front had not. Not only that, the front bolts were badly worn; clearly had not been inspected. Other than that, though, and the trim arm pivots being loose, the plane was very clean and tight. I like working on clean planes. I put oil dye dots, (for flow streaks) all over the cowling, and put in a manometer to measure pressure drop across the cylinders. This Tiger had none of the mods that I feel necessary to get cool cylinders, very poorly homemade metal exit ramps. I also got pics of the flow around the exit ramps. Really bad. Overall, the max pressure drop was pnly 4 1/2 inches of water. Yet, the EI CHT only showed a max of 380 with an OAT of 90. I'm certain you could add at least 50 degrees to that with a JPI gauge. I'd like to have both systems set up on the same plane and be able to switch back and forth. On the average, the True airspeed was around 140+ at all altitudes. It's a very nice plane. I'll put the pics of the oil flow on the net after the film gets developed. Gary I just finished the annual on a VERY Very nice T= iger.  It just sold too.

I didn't have the left eye done so that I could see up close without bi-focals. The results of the right eye were pretty much as predicted. I got the flares at night, there was a little residual astigmatism that couldn't be fixed, blah, blah, blah. Well, I heard about a new form of LASIK called Wave Front Technology. Look it up on the net. About a month ago, I asked my Optometrist if Wave Front would work for me. He said NO. So I went to a specialist, the guy who did the LASIK in the first place. Dr Douglas Steele in Westlake Village. He used a new machine called LADAR. It measured my eye and sure enough, there were the spots that caused the flairs and the astigmatism. That was last Tuesday. On Friday, I had the LADAR touch-up. All I can say is "It's FREAKIN' amazing!" In one day, all the little nits I had about LASIK are gone. No flares at night, no distortions, And, he says it will continue to get more clear as it heals. So, the right eye is 20/20 now and may get better,,,, say 20/18 to 20/15. The left eye is 20/40 to 20/50, all depends on how tired I am. If you are thinking about LASIK, I would highly recommend it. But, get the Wave Front Technology version. The problems with lights at night are not there and it's a lot more accurate. It isn't cheap. So, if you're looking for the lowest bidder, consider that you might not get a second chance. LADAR is $2100 for one eye at Steele's office. Gary Here is another topic that I got banned from GG=20= for talking about
