--> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: ThomasTholmes512@aol.com Yes, I should have included it on the original, but I had it filed under Ken Blackman instead of Airmods. airmods@everett.net 425-334-3030 They have had every piece I've looked for so far with the exception of the cowl latches that I got NOS from Bob Steward. --> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: "Phil" <Phil@ReliantAir.com> I asked this question a week or so ago and got no response so I thought I'd try again. I have a 1979 tiger and am considering installing the power flow exhaust system. I'm particularily interested in whether anyone has seen the more even CHT's and EGT's that they claim occur, but any comments would be appreciated. Thanks Phil

Subject: Tiger, LoPresti nose bowl update
--> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: "James Courtney" <jamey@jamescourtney.net> I like my Tiger as much as the next guy but it's kind of apples and oranges isn't it? Cirrus/Bonanza/210 are all high performance, complex aircraft with generally greater capabilities and accordingly higher price-tags and operating expenses than the Grummans. The appeal of the Tiger is that it is a practical, very fun, very reliable and simple small airplane to operate for a cost similar to that of a C172 or Piper PA-28. The Cirrus is a notch up the ladder in performance and price and the Bonanza and 210 certainly that too. I could see myself or another Grumman owner considering stepping up at some point if their budget and needs made it an option but it seems odd to be choosing between the two. --> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: ThomasTholmes512@aol.com Jamey, It's a matter of mission I believe. Two of these folks fly almost every day to manage their businesses. Couple hundred miles, each way max. The difference in time with the Tiger compared to any of the others is minuscule, while the cost of an annual will be at least two to one and the going price for new/newish ones varies by as much as $200K. You have to have a really big ego need to stand that kind of hit! ;-) Of course I fly a 150hp Yankee and an Aeronca! Tom

It does make more power lower in the rpm range. As for mixture distribution and temps, you'll need fuel injection. Gary
