Gary:
There are a couple of antennas that were original ... The one mounted on the
Vertical Stab ... The Portable one that is mounted on the ELT and ... even the
Cat Whisker one that mounts on the Turtle Deck.
NOW! I will be removing my Original Grumman Vertical Stab antenna soon.
Would that help? But, I also have a spare Cat Whisker antenna.
As for the Portable one on the ELT. A Tape Measure type ruler works great.
It even has the markings for length required ... ((492/ F (MHz) )/2) = L in
feet now x 12 will give you the inches... 24.29"

The installation instructions say not to move the muffler because mounting it
in other way may introduce exhaust gasses into cockpit.=A0 I don't agree with
this, at least on the Tiger, and think it is probably CYA language.
No. Where it comes out of the collector, (1) it makes a 180 degree turn,
(2) goes straight for a bit, then (3) there is a weld to the next pipe. (4)
this next pipe also makes about a 180 degree turn and that's where the muffler
attaches. Go back to (1) As it comes out of the collector and makes the first
180 degree turn... at the end of the turn, cut the pipe, let the whole
exhaust system relax a little and the second turn (3) will rotate away from=20the
carb
heat flange.
I think the warning is just that. CYA.
If I were installing a PowerFlow, that's what I'd do and just not say
anything.

(ps, you didn't hear me say that.)

Gary:
I can do that for you. I do have one of them, but let me triple check, and
I'll get back to you.
