Brian and Team. I did an annual on a Tiger about 6 months ago and the
dimmer had been wired in using the 'other' contact on the rheostat. I wired up
Brian's backwards and guess what? It works great. It works better than any
dimmer I've ever seen.
Rheostat problem cured (temporarily). I'm going to keep looking for a
suitable alternative. On the Rheostat itself are the marks
Type: R-50
30 Watts
1.29 amps and then there is another stamp that says 5A. make up your own
conclusions.
