Due to the cost can someone realistically tell me what kind of speed increase I can expect? What are your comments in regard to the original Grumman pants vs DMA or any others that may be out there. I mostly hated the look of it without pants. I also grossly underestimated the amount of time and money it would take to add a set of standard, not DMA pants. The parts are hard to find. Finally, it all came together for well over $2,500 and numerous calls to Fletchair who did their best. It flies somewhat faster, and it looks MUCH better. Best of luck. I replaced them about a year ago because the original ones were in bad shape. I flew it 3 times without any wheel pants and I saw about a 3 knot decrease (gps flying all 4 directions and plotted). mostly noticed it looked better with them on, looked more "expensive, sporty" other than a "trainer" or whatever. I know DMA speed mods sells some but don't know any other info.
