One caused a lot of damage to the strut and to the bearings in the nose fork. Heads up, if you're doing the work yourself, get a manual and put it back together the way it was designed to be put together. Also, if you have a mechanic do the work for you, bring a copy of the manual to him to have him put it back together the way it was designed. He paid more but man was he an ASS-HOLE. I would gladly have given up the few extra thousand in exchange for never having to have met or dealt with him. He will probably also let it rot up in the Oregon rain. -----Original Message----- From: owner-teamgrumman-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-teamgrumman-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of TeamGrumman@aol.com Subject: TeamGrumman-List: Nose Strut --> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: TeamGrumman@aol.com The last four planes (Tigers) I've worked on have had the hardware on the nose fork incorrectly installed.
