The parts have been debonded/removed, and the new ones are drilled and clecoed in place. Got a RV builder coming on Sat. to help me with the messy riveting with the Pro-Seal.... They worked great the last time I used them. The plane I took them out of hadn't been flown 80 hours in 10 years. Only 1100 TT. They were last yellow tagged in 1997 (all of the avionics were apparently removed and yellow tagged in 1997). Right now, the CP135 audio panel/tray and the coms are still wired together. Since it was a factory install, all the original wiring was prewired and trays installed as a unit. When I removed it, I just cut the power and ground wires and removed everything as a unit. The ADF is still wired to it too. The wiring is even there for the head phone/mic jacks (I cut the jacks off to ease removal). I'd sell both Coms, the ADF, and the CP135 as a unit for $1000. I'd throw in the Nav 121 for an additional $500 if purchased all together. My composite guy, Composite Dave, will be the new supplier. He will be sending them directly to Fletcher in less than a week. He received the tool (the female mold) about 2 weeks ago and went to work making parts. After making 2 parts, we tried trial fitting them and, quite frankly, the tooling sucked. It was wavy, and the front 12 inches was out of true. In fact, the nose was out to the right about 1/4 inches. So, for the last 3-4 days, Dave has been making a new tool. He had to start with making a new master. And making it square. The goal is to make it with scribe lines for trimming and drilling the attachment holes. We're going to use my plane for the trial fit. Dave will be making two female molds and be able to turn out two a day. The new dorsil fins will be of substanially better quality than the old ones. Gary
