Another option is a 1 inch hole, and a chrome push-in hole plug from the
aviation (plumbing) department of your local Home Depot.

Examples shown here - at the bottom....

The Madison Rites of Spring Fly-In Picnic and Great Lie-Swapping Olympics is
still ON. Come join us at one of the last great grass-roots airports this
      coming Saturday, 8th May.

Details (in painful detail) are available at
      http://carneyaviation.com/madpicnic.htm.

This is strictly a VFR fly-in, with a weather decision to be posted at the
site just mentioned, no later than 6:30 8th May.

Weather alternate date is Sunday 16th May.

Come join us, and come hungry. If at all possible, please RSVP so we have a
better idea how much food to get. david@carneyaviation.com, include the
words "Madison picnic" in your subject line.

I didn't clean it with anything. If anything, some De-Solv-It oversprayed
on it when I was cleaning the brake fluid from the floor. Wipe it off with a
clean cloth. You can also use some Wax and Grease remover.

PS, did you send the Turn and Bank?
