--> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: Gil Alexander <gilalex@earthlink.net> Gary... tried the "other" list, but without a specific answer. I'm installing the Century I Autopilot you removed from ayour Tiger, complete with all of it's mounting brackets. I have a mounting question, since I found that the mounting holes were not in all of the Tigers produced... oh well... When I place the servo on the triangular mounting plates on the floor just behind the fuel gauges, everything seems to line up nicely and look like the picture in the parts manual... But, the cable retainer next to the capstan on the servo pushes the aileron cable down about 1/16 of an inch. Since I don't have the bridle cables installed onto the main control cables yet, is this normal? Does the attachment of the smaller diam. servo bridle cables effectively displace the main cable downwards when the clamps are installed? Or is something missing?? Are any shims involved? ....any help would be appreciated.... gil in Tucson 77 Tiger, N28478 PS did you get the T/B?

--> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: Gil Alexander <gilalex@earthlink.net> Does anyone know the dimension of the special tool that sets the control column at neutral for the elevators?? I thought I'd check the rigging and elevator travel while the "top" is off the aft fuselage after the SAIB stiffener repair, and everything is more accessible without the vertical stab installed... thanks gil in Tucson
