Gil,
To be more specific, we used Imron for the base color, which was white for
the 4 place, but could be red, blue or yellow for the 2 place. Centari was
used for the secondary, or as we termed it, two tone colors.

Larry ... did the catalyzed hardeners exist for Centari in 1977?
Or was the Centari used a plain enamel paint?

Gil,
DuPont did provide us with a specific catalyst for the Centari in '74, but
if we ran out of the Centari catalyst, we just used the one for the Imron.
We also used the lacquer thinner they supplied us for the Corlar primer to
thin Imron rather than use the 'special' Imron reducer. It gave us a better
looking finish. The fact that they stayed that way for so many years leads
me believe it was the right choice.
