Steve:
Here is a simple trick, it is great for those that do not have the eye to
straighten things that are curved.
Take a piece of 1" wide masking tape and wrap it around the SCAT Tube where
you want it to be cut.
Then using a sharp razor blade cut on the edge that you want to use ...
Careful there are two edges to the tape!
When you reach the WIRE use a good pair of diagonal cutters (DIKES).
Then bend the wire back and away from the SCAT Tube, far enough to give you a
nice smooth wire free area, this is the area you clamp on.
Then CUT OFF the striped back wire, leaving about 1"
Then using a pair of needle nose pliers bend the 1" wire back 180 Deg to form
a smooth edge ... this is so the wire does not cut a hole through the SCAT
Tubing.
That is it ... easy ... took me longer to write this than to do it.
