It seems that the only way these can fit is to unbolt the steps, grind off the rivets holding on two nutplates, slide the plastic over the steps, re-install the nutplates, and then re-install the steps. Is this really correct?? ...if so, what $% $# designed this portion of the Tiger?? gil in Tucson 77 Tiger N28478, but will become N12GA after paint.....
